These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Courier HQ (the “Service”), operated by Courier HQ (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is currently available to users in the United States only.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Plans, billing, and quotas

Free plan — includes a limited monthly quota of searches and AI email drafts, plus access to job browsing and the activity board.
Paid plans (Starter, Builder, Empire) — billed monthly through our payments partner (Clerk Billing). Your plan determines feature access and monthly usage caps. Caps reset on a rolling 30-day window.
Cancellation — you may cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Access continues through the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds for partial months.
Plan changes — upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Scrape, copy, or redistribute job listings displayed in the Service to any third party.
Use AI-generated content from the Service in a way that misrepresents your identity, qualifications, or experience.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
Attempt to bypass quota caps, plan gates, or other access restrictions.
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party's rights.

5. Job listings disclaimer

Job listings shown in the Service are pulled from third-party sources (including Indeed, LinkedIn, and niche courier boards) and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not employ, endorse, or vet any company or contract listed. You are responsible for independently verifying any opportunity before applying or entering into a contract. We are not a party to any arrangement between you and a shipper, carrier, or platform.

6. AI-generated content

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate application emails, feedback acknowledgments, and other supporting content. AI output may contain inaccuracies or hallucinations. You are solely responsible for reviewing and editing generated content before sending it to a third party.

7. Intellectual property

The Service and all related software, design, and content (excluding user-submitted data and third-party listings) are owned by Courier HQ and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own business purposes during the term of your subscription.

You retain ownership of data and content you submit to the Service (vehicles, finances, templates, drafts). You grant us a license to store, process, and display this content as necessary to operate the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of these Terms or for activity that risks the safety or integrity of the Service. You may close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; some provisions of these Terms survive (e.g., disclaimers, indemnification, limitation of liability).

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that listings will be accurate, current, or available.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Courier HQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Courier HQ, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
